Sitges: Do you want to immerse yourself in the magical world of cava? We invite you to visit the Freixenet cava cellars. The guided tour at Freixenet begins with a brief audiovisual presentation of the history of a family business. This is followed by a visit to the old part of the cellars, built in 1922. Here, the house guides will personally explain the process of cava production and will give advice on serving and drinking this sparkling beverage. Visitors will board a small train to travel through part of the 20 km of underground cava cellars. At the end of this journey, visitors arrive at the tasting room where they can taste the different cavas of the Freixenet range. The visit finishes at the “Dolores Ferrer” store where visitors will have the chance to acquire many articles relating to the world of cava and wine.Very close to Barcelona, we find Sitges, one of the most picturesque villages on the Catalan coast. With the Garraf massif as a backdrop, Sitges is one of the favorite destinations for tourists visiting Catalonia. Its micro climate, with almost 300 days of sun per year, seventeen beaches, an attractive range of cultural opportunities and its exceptional cuisine and shopping options make it the perfect choice for enjoying the Mediterranean coast.
Artistica: Gaudi, one of the greatest innovators of his time, has left behind numerous treasures for the discerning tourist to discover in Barcelona. Keep an eye on your watch, it’s easy to get lost in the whimsical design of this bizarre but compelling public park. Continue to the La Sagrada Familia (Holy Family) Cathedral, Gaudi’s unfinished masterpiece which is Barcelona’s most famous landmark, where you will stop for around 30 minutes. You will also visit Barcelona’s the famous Sta María del Mar, the only Gothic church in Catalonia completely finished. The tour ends near the Picasso Museum which exhibits works from the blue and pink periods of the world-famous painter. You can choose either coming back to Julia Travel terminal, or remain in the Picasso Museum coming back by yourself (ticket not included). In between tours there is just a 30 minutes break.
