The Casa Santos Murteira is a Manor House from the 18th century. Located in the historic town of Alcáçovas, near Évora, was originally built to be a diligence station. In 19th century the family build the second floor for the family accommodation and several infra-structures around the main house to support the farming activities. In 1994 Mrs. Dona Maria da Encarnação Santos Murteira Fernandes open her Family Home to ”Turismo de Habitação” to receive guests and to preserve the great Manor House heritage.
