This country house beautifully stands amidst its ancestral trees, unexpectedly surprising its guests with two enchanting swimming pools and a charming tennis court.The name ‘Assentos’ (house of records) was given to this house as it was once the place where agreements concerning local rents were kept.

How to Get There
From Porto Airport: Take the motorway A3 to Braga/Valença. At km66 leave the motorway in the exit signposted Vila Verde. After paying the toll, turn right signposted Braga and in 2 km you will come to a round about. Here turn right in direction of Viana do Castelo and after 7km you will cross the main square of Freixo village were you must continue straight on in direction of Viana do Castelo. In 6km you will arrive to the village of Balugães were you will find another crossroad. Turn left signposted Barcelos and continue for about 3 km, then turn right after a chapel, following the signpost of Quintiães. 2 km after turn left signposted ‘Centro’ and 500m after you will find the house on your right, just before the church.
From Barcelos: Take the road signposted for Ponte de Lima, the N 204. As you go along this road you will come to a stone marked 14km on the road side and you will also see a chapel on the left. Turn left here following the signpost of Quintiães and Casa dos Assentos. 2 km after veer left signposted ‘Centro’ and 500m after you will find the house on your right, just before the church. From the town centre of Ponte de Lima: Take the road leading to the new bridge. At the Round about, go straight ahead onto the road signposted Barcelos/Darque (N 203). After 4km, turn left onto the road signposted Barcelos, the N 204. Continue for about 15km and you will come to a crossroad in Balugães, continue straight ahead and 3 km after turn right after a chapel, following the signpost of Quintiães and Casa dos Assentos. 2 km after turn left signposted ‘Centro’ and 500m after you will find the house on your right, just before the church.GPS Coordinates:
