| We depart first to encounter Óbidos and meet its medieval walls, rustic white houses and the rich and varied local traditions of the town. We also take the opportunity to visit the Castle Pousada-Hotel. We then leave Óbidos for Alcobaça to take in the imposing monastery church (UNESCO world heritage), the first Gothic church to be built in Portugal and home to the tombs of the ill-starred lovers D. Pedro and D. Inês de Castro. We then head onto the picturesque and colourful fishing town of Nazaré for lunch. There’s also the chance to find out something about the legends and traditions of this town. When possible, we go to Sítio, to marvel at its wonderful views out over Nazaré and its beaches. We then move onto Batalha to visit the monastery church (also UNESCO world heritage), a Gothic masterpiece with the most finely worked stained-glass windows. Finally, we reach the Our Lady of Fátima Sanctuary, an altar of the Christian faith and site of world pilgrimage. There is also the Chapel of Apparitions with its portrayal of Our Lady of Fátima. Take the time also for the location of the Basilica with the tombs of the three witnesses, and the Church of the Holy Trinity, the fourth largest in the world by capacity. You have some some free time to attend mass. Travelling through this colourful agricultural region, we return to Lisbon. |

The ticket for a tour entitles the holder the transportation, hotel, meals, entrance fees and the services of a guide. Extras are not included.Reservations : requests will only be accepted if made 72 hours prior to service date. Reservations will be guaranted after payment received. For bank transfers, it’s necessary to send bank receipt until 72 hours prior to service date.Cancellations : until 72 hours before departure – no cancellation fee. After this deadline there’s no refund.Cancellation fees (circuits): 24 hours before departure – 10 %. After that the refund is not granted. Children under 4 years of age are carried free (all extras to be paid by the adult in charge), between 5 and 10 years of age will pay 50% of the normal price.

Cancellation fees (atractions) : except where noted in each service, bookings are not refundable from 24 hours prior to booked date, in the services this is required.
It’s compulsory the reservation and the confirmation of the tour operator. All tours are subject to alteration without notice. If the numbers of participant’s falls bellow 7 passengers the tour operator reserves the right to use minibuses or private car. National Monuments closed on public holidays. Luggage is carried at clients’ risk, these being advised to watch the loading and unloading of their belongings.
Complaints: This will only be accepted in writing after notifying the agency where the reservation and payment were done within the limit of 15 days after the service has been rendered. Complains can only be accepted after details have been communicated to the respective suppliers (hotels, guides, local agents, etc.) during the trip or stay the respective documents to confirm the incident. |
