Quinta da Praia, which overlooks the River Tejo in the picturesque town of Alcochete, was built in the 16th century and was once the residence of the Marquês de Soydos.
Overlooking the Tejo river, the exquisite interior of the house is enhanced by magnificent panels of Portuguese tiles dating back from the 17th and 18th centuries. There are numerous facilities including a swimming pool, games room, tennis court, horse riding and bicycles to ride around the estate. Lisbon is a 20-minute drive away.
